JETTING Y-BLOCK

The Y-Block is a specialized accessory for fiber installations, allowing the addition of a second and third fiber cable or duct into existing duct systems without disturbing the existing infrastructure. It supports cable sizes up to 16 mm and 12 mm. A 25 mm or 50 mm pipe connects the fiber blowing machine to the Y-Block, which also features an extra direct air connection for installations in larger ducts or pipes.

The Y-Block comes in a case containing:

Features and Applications

Parallel installation of multiple cables or ducts: The Y-Block facilitates the insertion of two or three cables or ducts into the same duct system. This ensures that additional fiber cables or microducts can be installed while protecting the existing infrastructure.
Interchangeable connection: The connection to the fiber blowing machine is replaceable, providing flexibility for different setups and requirements.
Flexible connections: Equipped with clamps that adapt to different duct sizes, ensuring compatibility with a range of installations.
Compact design for tight spaces: Jetting’s Y-Block is specifically designed to be compact, making it ideal for use in confined spaces such as small manholes and network nodes.
Easy handling: Its lightweight and practical design make it simple to install and manage during fieldwork.
Duct installation: The Y-Block can also be used to blow ducts (instead of cables) into existing ducts. The process works in the same way as cable installation, but instead of a cable, a smaller duct is blown into place.
